K. Allan’s Barbeque Sauce has been in the planning stages for a long time. After tinkering with the recipe for 8 years, we finally came up with a formula that we were satisfied with. We began manufacturing and using our traditional sauce at our carryout (Smokers Catering & Carry Out) in 1997. Our customers loved the taste and wanted to know when they could buy the sauce. In July 2000, “Baltimore Magazine” stopped by and had some of our ribs and sauce. We received the only A+ rating from them and were featured in their cover story. As the demand for our sauce increased we saw the need to have the product manufactured and available to our customers. This process was completed in the winter and spring of 2003. As part of this process, we developed a second sauce, our Spicy Honey Barbeque. The reviews, so far, have been very positive.
